Collection of Deenesh Ghyczy's pictures
Deenesh Ghyczy is a artist born in Berlin Germany. Ghyczy studied in Amsterdam, Budapest and Brussels. He uses paint to create his photos, Ghyczy said 'paint is uniquely suited to establishing a state of serenity, standstill, and contemplation'. In some of his photos the artist look like they're floating and you can also see their past actions all in one photo. The main aim of his photos is to frame past, future and present actions all in one photo. He uses interesting backgrounds and gets his models to do different hand motions and different facial expressions to clearly show that they're past actions or present or future actions. Ghyczy creates photo's that create a out of body experience look. These photo's create multiple existences, where the models have done certain things for example bit an apple. His work was exhibited in Germany and Hungary.
Analysis
What can I see?
In this painting I can see a painting of a man sitting at a table, maybe working or talking to someone we can't see in the painting. The man is wearing a dark green blazer with a red scarf and is sitting at a table in a dark room, with a glass of water (I'm assuming). In the painting there are 3 versions of the man or you can say of the painting, each version fades away slightly.

Feeling, colour & mood
When I look at this it reminds me of someone that's struggling with a problem or a dilemma, it also looks like this man is having a discussion with someone that was not painted into this painting. This photo also reminds me of being dizzy, it has that dizzy look to it, like we're looking through a drink persons eyes. It has a sombre feel to it, which was created by using the dark/sombre colours and placing the man in a dark room. The dominant colour in this photo is shadowy looking green, which was used in the curtains and the mans blazer, the use of green has also made the shadows look green. I like this painting a lot because it actually tells a story, a story of a distressed man sitting at a table in a dark room probably contemplating what to do or how to solve the issue.

Composition
For this painting the focal point was the first painting of the man, after I look at the man I look at the glasses that have been placed on the table. I look at the glasses on the table because of the light that was used around the glass. After looking at the glass I look back to the last 2 versions of the man, then I look around the rest of the painting. The composition for this photo is a triangle. This photo is asymmetrical as the man is it sitting at a angle. looking towards the right, not straight at the artist.

Light & Tone
In this painting the light is coming from the top right corner and it shines onto the table and parts of the mans face causing a black dark area behind the man. By using the two contrasting colours, dark and light colours, it added more depth to the photo. The shadows that were created make the photo stand out more, makes the photo look 3D. The light and tone has created a dark mood as the leading colours are dark and also because of the shadows that were created by the light.

What have I learnt?
- From this painting I have learnt that the colours used in your photo is important, you can try alter your surroundings to create a certain mood
- I have also learnt that the angles of the light is very important to create shadows and light in different areas
- I have also learnt that sometimes the darker colours make a better photo
What can I see?
In this photo I can see a painting of a young girl, blue eyed with blond hair, a close up. She seems to be in a dark room. in this painting you can also see a second version of the girl. The first version looks solid, meaning she's physically there and she's also slightly facing the right and looking towards the right. The second version has a slight blue tinge to it, making that version look like a ghost, she's also slightly facing the left and looking towards the left too.

Colour, feelings & mood
For this photo the colours used are subtle apart from the red that was used for the girl's top. The blue was used a lot instead of using black as a shadow, blue was used instead. This photo reminds me of horror movies as young children are the main thing used to scare people by placing them in dark rooms. In this case it looks like the second version of her that's slightly pointed to the left looks like a ghost version of her leaving her body, caused by the blue tinge that makes her look void of a physical body. To me this photo has a sense of horror caused by the ghost effect and the dark background. I like this photo a lot because of the theme used, which makes the painting more interesting.

Light & Tone
Light is coming from the top right corner and is pointing onto her face causing the first version of the girl to look bright whilst as the second version is turned towards the left the light hits the side of her face causing the other side to be full of shadows, presented by using the colour blue. The light and tone does add depth to this photo as it helps create the shadows which adds to the horror/dark feelings that I'm picking up from this photo.
